Education: My degree and background is in Advertising Art. Experience: I attended William Holland School of Lapidary Arts in Young Harris, Georgia twice. I enjoy creating "one of a kind" items and call myself ART TO WEAR. I have been teaching basic bead stringing and recreating old vintage jewelry into new creations in my recently built home studio. I use quality materials and findings, such as Swarovski crystal, blown glass by artists I know or have reached through research. I love using Vintage and antique findings taken from heirloom or unusual pieces. My gemstones are real (from the earth) and my minerals and glass are from all over the world. I am continually learning and experimenting with new ideas- new colors blended together, and working on and off loom. I hope to be growing and expanding in my art, as learning is a continuing process for me. Currently, I am experimenting with weaving very fine (threadlike) silver wire into patterns found in fabric and quilting, and embellishing these with antique jewelry "findings". I strive to offer pieces unique to the individual who will own an 'Art to Wear' creation. Art to Wear
