Barbara is a native of Springfield, Missouri with a Bachelor's degree from Southwest Missouri State University in Springfield, MO. She has lived in the St. Louis area since 1959. She paints portraits, murals, folding screens
and easel paintings for individuals, decorators and offices. In December
2001, she completed 42 mural panels comprising the History of Pettis
County for the Pettis County Courthouse in Sedalia, MO. Barbara does
restoration work and restored damaged murals for a decorating company
for several years. She worked 16 years as an inpainter in the restoration
or paintings of all types for a St. Louis gallery. Her paintings have
been in galleries in St. Charles and St. Louis, although she mainly
works through commissions. Barbara is a member of the St. Louis Artists
