Douglass Bennett — Oil & Pastel Artist Doug Bennett is a graduate of the Ringling School of Art and Design, in Sarasota, Florida.
Doug began his oil painting career in 1992. He has recently been working with soft pastels. Doug has received numerous awards for his oil painting and pastel work. Ranging from Best of Show to the Peoples Choice Award. He has received back to back Honorable Mention awards from the Missouri Waterfowl Stamp Competition and a second place honor from the Ohio Waterfowl Stamp Competition. He is currently the president of the Missouri Wildlife Artist Society and is a member of the Mid-America Pastel Society. Douglas Bennett

For
the past 24 years, Doug has lived in the Kansas City area where he
has been working as a senior designer/artist for a Kansas City publishing
company. He has furthered his art education by attending several drawing
and painting courses at area colleges and art institutions.
