As with so many artists, I had the need to create from a very young age. At the beginning it was needlework, sketching with pencil, watercolor, painted furniture and then working in murals for seven years in my own business.
I have been lucky to train with some of the top glass bead makers in the world and now own my own glass studio in St. Louis, MO, Sorella Beads. My work has been in several art shows around the country and has been collected for the Kobe Glass Art Museum in Kobe Japan. I look forward to continuing my education in the field and teaching the art of glass bead making for years to come. Sorella Beads

During that time, I began to work with beads and then became focused on making lampwork beads. That was nine years ago and glass still holds my attention.
