Grandview Woolens and Gardens is located in Linn County, midway between St. Joseph and Hannibal, Missouri. The lush, rolling hillsides provide forage for our flock of 200 ewes which in turn provide frisky lambs and wonderful, wearable wool. Some wool is processed by a mill into yarn which is sold in skeins or used by Garlyn in her handwovens.
Felted Hat Making Parties: Garlyn helps you create from carded wool a unique hat to fit you. Hosts organize parties for eight to fifteen people and Grandview Woolens provides all the materials and equipment. At the end of the day you have an exclusive hat, a booklet describing the process and great fun. The class fee is $75 per person.
